The Stephanus school in Rotterdam is a diverse school which works with Teaching Force. Teaching Force is a method to improve education. It started in 2012 with 15 pilot schools. Today 476 schools work with the method.
Teaching Force consists of several parts.
Firstly there is the whiteboardsession:
Weekly teachers and management discuss goals, improvement actions and student results. A special whiteboard is the backbone for this session.
The second part is joint lesson-design, where teachers prepare a lesson together.
Third part is the class observation. Teachers observe each other in class and give feedback.
